Submit Your Educational Media and Become a DCMP Accessible Content Partner

Because of COVID-19, we’ve all begun using educational media that support remote learning. Educators are seeking online content, and many are creating their own. Content that is accessible to students who are deaf and blind is difficult to find.

Have you created educational content and want to make sure it is accessible? The Described and Captioned Media Program is currently accepting submissions for media that is appropriate for families and educators with K-12 students who are deaf or blind. Whether it’s remote learning content, health and safety information, YouTube creator content, ASL videos, or something else, we’d like to help. This includes high-quality, educator-created remote learning resources in any curricular area.

Partnership Benefits

Submissions will be evaluated by DCMP. If selected, your content will be made accessible by adding captions and description, at no cost to you. In return, we ask for permission to distribute it on our secure and accessible content delivery platform on a non-exclusive basis. You will be contacted by DCMP to discuss usage rights and other details. All forms of media may be submitted. Content should not be state- or region-specific.

Types of Media to Submit

Here are examples of types of media you may submit. We are open to content that is not listed below, so feel free to submit other or multiple types of media.

  • High-quality remote learning resources
  • Educational videos
  • Health and safety information
  • YouTube creator content
  • ASL videos (PSAs, instructional, etc.)
