In Thebes, a team of archaeologists sheds light on the famous Ramses II and his funerary temple. The tomb is comprised of 22 rooms, spread underground over three levels and built by the lector priest and royal scribe Pediamenopet. The walls are entirely covered with ancient hieroglyphic inscriptions, and the temple is famous for its 57-foot seated statue of Ramses II.
