When Zack was rejected by the colleges he wanted to get into, he started on a downward spiral and went into a deep depression. As his depression got worse and worse, he started contemplating suicide, and one night he found himself at the top of a high cliff on the verge of killing himself. At the last minute, he called a friend, and the friend called his parents, which saved Zach's life.
