What is the story behind ascribing meaning and human attributes to creepy dolls? In ancient history, dolls were used for spiritual and protective purposes. However, a shift in their purpose occurred in ancient Greece when Theocritus wrote a story about a witch placing a curse on a doll. This began the story of the creepy doll. Part of the "Monstrum" series.
