Browse Full-length Non-member TitlesAbraham Lincoln, our 16th President, is known for the Emancipation Proclamation and the Gettysburg Address. He has strong ideas about abolishing slavery which brought into close contact with Frederick Douglass. Douglass was born a slave but escaped and became a central figure in the abolitionist movement. At a time when racial tensions were high and racial equality was not yet established, Lincoln and Douglass formed a strong bond over shared ideals and worked alongside each other for a common goal. Based on the book by Niki Giovanni.
