Inspiring the Next Generation of Female Engineers
During a TEDx event at Pennsylvania State University, Debbie Sterling shares her story of becoming a female engineer in a male dominated field. Through her experiences, she has made it her mission in life to tackle the gender gap in science, technology, engineering and math. Debbie found her passion was to inspire the next generation of female engineers, and she began a campaign to create an engineering toy for girls. She named her invention GoldieBlox which incorporates storytelling, problem solving, and construction.
